The very first thing we'll do is schedule a kickoff meeting. For this kickoff meeting, you should be prepared to bring in the logo of your company, contents and photos if you have any, be prepared to talk about the pages required for your site and anything else pertinent to your website project with your assigned designer / project manager.
I take great pride in their work so don’t be surprised if you're drilled in this meeting with questions that you’ve never even thought of while starting or running your business. I'd like to know from start to end how your business runs, where the holes are, how to fix them, what areas to highlight and discover what makes you excited about your job.
The direction of the overall design will be heavily discussed during the kickoff meeting. I encourage you to bring in your ideas but also expect you to be open to my expertise. I design and build your website as if you, yourself is working on it. In the end, I want to you give you a website that you love and that I am proud to put in my portfolio. And trust me I am very proud of our portfolio! At this point after our brainstorming meeting I'll have enough information to start designing your website. The number of mockups, revisions and pages will differ depending on the contract you’ve signed. If you purchased a website with minimal mockups and revisions, our designers will be extremely careful not to waste it on a minor change. So when I ask that you be as detailed as possible, I don’t mean to bother you! I just want to save you time and money on unnecessary corrections. If we spend the time in the beginning, everything else is smooth sailing.
